Stella Arcana Treasure Map Guide

In Stella Arcana, you can rely on auto-questing for many missions, but it won't be there to help you to overcome all the challenges. Sometimes, you must fall upon your wits to grab that extra loot that will give you the boost you need. Either currency or useful items, not to mention character experience, everything that comes your way is useful in your quest to success in this anime MMORPG. One of the best ways to earn extra loot is by using treasure maps that you occasionally receive as rewards or purchase from an NPC. With the help of this Stella Arcana treasure map guide you should be able to find the locations where you can dig for valuable loot.

During your adventure you'll come across maps of different sizes or values: Treasure Map (S), Treasure Map (M), and Treasure Map (L). There is no X marking the spot, but each one of these categories (small, medium, and large) comes with its own way of finding the loot. The rewards are random, which means that you may earn a small amount of silver for your trouble, but sometimes you could be in for a major surprise.

The easier ones to find are the Treasure Map (S) chests, but the rewards won't be that appetizing as well. To find such a chest, you just need to use the map and your character will automatically teleport and move to the location. When you have reached the spot, a Dig button will show up – tap it and reap the rewards.

Treasure Map (M) chests bring an interesting twist to what some unknowledgeable gamers may be calling an auto-play game. For this situation, Stella Arcana will only teleport you to the region where the treasure chest is buried. Then, a compass should pop up and now it's up to you to explore the environment by following its directions. Once you reach the correct spot – you will know that when the compass pointer starts moving around, an indication that you're walking on the digging site -, the Dig button will once again appear. Use it for some hopefully good prizes.

But there's nothing automatic or any straight clues when it comes to the Treasure Map (L) chests. Still, you do get some hints when you examine the map item in your inventory that could point you in the right direction. By now you should know the starting regions of Stella Arcana (or Light of Thel: Glory of Cepheus in other regions) by heart: City of Thel, Steam Valley, Eternity Beach, and Fluoro Forest.

Let's be honest here; it's very complicated to find the digging locations of these chests without help. There are subtle hints that can point you to objects or persons near the exact spot (“treasure chest under a treasure chest,” or “I must still venture near that big intimidating guy to explore more closely,” but you're most likely only getting that “Aha!” moment after accidentally discovering the spot, or following our Stella Arcana treasure map guide below. That is, if you want to save time in your quest.

At this time, there are nine Treasure Map L items, and one of the challenges is to get all of them. But nothing prevents you from using one map as soon as you lay your hands on it, so let's get going.

A few instructions to help you out – each map location is shown in two images: a region map (follow the yellow pointer) and a screenshot from the area where you must dig for treasure.
