Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure Quest Guide

Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure Quest Guide

Genshin Impact is a wonderful anime RPG from the makers of Honkai Impact 3rd. Featuring many different playable characters with unique elemental powers and a vast open world, the potential for ingenious puzzles is huge. The game doesn't let you down in this regard, so you have to occasionally use your brains to complete some not so obvious quests. One of those is called Secret Pirate Treasure and you'll find it early in the game during Act 1. Since there is a chance that you'll become frustrated with one specific mission, read our Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure quest guide to advance in this game.

Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure Quest Guide and Tips

Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure Quest Guide Kaeya

This quest start is easy and straightforward. You have to meet Kaeya (for the Kaeya's Troubles mission) inside the Knights of Favonius building, and he tells you to come outside to the courtyard for more details. He speaks of a big treasure, his grandfather's sword, but its whereabouts are unknown.

To cut things short, you are sent to find his informant, a girl name Vile, at the Whispering Woods (Mystery of the Arcadian Ruins Mission). Save her from the attacking creatures and you get a cryptic Treasure Clue in the form of a poem.

You can go to Kaeya to get some hints or try to uncover its meaning by yourself. It reads as follows:

In the city on the lake,
Lived three giants with six arms.
Two to guard the statue of the archon,
One to guard the treasure of the archons.

The city mentioned is obviously Mondstadt, and the three giants are the windmills. You must go to a high location in Mondstadt, preferably the waypoint near the Knights of Favonius building. From there, glide to the closest windmill and open up a chest. Make your way to the other windmill and open another chest, which should possibly be the one that unlocks the next quest step.

When this is done, you get a second Treasure Clue reading the following:

She had never loved him,
The passion of the spring was but a facade,
Only at the lonely hours,
Will her heart speak the truth.

Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure Quest Guide Cryo Pillars

If you go to Kaeya for hints on this poem, you learn that the next location is Springvale. However, you must absolutely use a character with Cryo powers in this mission, and Kaeya is your man. Go to the location marked on the map near the waterfall (a bit of climbing is required) and stand near the three Cryo pillars. You must activate these with Kaeya and his elemental skill. It's easier now than it was during closed beta, because you had to use his Cryo skill (“E” on PC) like this:

You have to use Kaeya in combat for a while until his Glacial Waltz talent is charged (“Q” on PC). Go to the location above when ready, use the talent and run through the three pillars quickly.

An exquisite chest will show up in the center, unlocking the next step of the Secret Pirate Treasure quest (Kaeya's Gain quest).

Once more, we have a riddle to decipher, with a rough map. Go to Kaeya for hints or go immediately over to the location by opening your world map and teleporting to the nearest waypoint. The Lost Arcadian Ruins are on a beach near Falcon Coast, so make your way there and enter the Lost Arcadia dungeon. Before entering, change your party in order to include Kaeya (Cryo) and Lisa (Electro).

Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure Quest Guide Ruins Guard

The dungeon is fairly straightforward. Use Lisa for every fire slime that comes your way, Kaeya to freeze the fire traps, and Amber to deal with the Ruins Guard boss (hit his exposed head and back) and his lackeys. Both the Secret Pirate Treasure quest and Act 1 finish as soon as the boss bites the dust.

We hope that this Genshin Impact Secret Pirate Treasure quest guide helped you complete this challenge.
