As you follow the main story and complete epic missions, your hero and squad rank will increase, but every bit of XP will be needed to overcome Loki, the God of Mischief. Not even Thor himself will be enough to tackle this challenge, so it’s up to you to prove that you are up to the task. By accomplishing the short optional quests, you rack up experience points that may end up making all the difference between victory and defeat.

Unlike epic missions and side-quests, which are perfectly signaled in your map as soon as you spot them, hidden quests won’t be marked. You may pass by these without noticing, especially if you are using auto-pathing to go from one point of an epic mission to the other. Playing AFK will make you neglect hidden quests, as these have a different kind of trigger: an NPC with a yellow speech bubble, and the quest is only accepted if you move closer to him, something that usually doesn’t happen as they are tucked away from the path that the auto-movement follows.
