In planet Noah, there are many lakes and rivers filled with varied types of fish. It's recommended to get a good variety of them to unlock your album first, especially the really rare types, and only then to use them for cooking.

The process to get fish in Noah's Heart is very simple. Open your world map, check the Resource tab and find Fishing Spot. Now scroll around the map until you find a specific type of fish, or just go and fish any of the ones that are listed. Any fish will do for cooking, you don't have to be choosy in that regard.

When you reach the location, look into the water and find a spot with various fishes swimming around. Throw your fishing rod and wait a few seconds until one fish starts moving toward it. Sometimes you just have to hit the button to reel the fish in, other times you must keep the marker on the green zone until you get the fish.

Now open your inventory bag and go into the tab Material. Find the fish and click Use inside your bag. Choose the amount that you want to turn into fish for cooking, and that is it! You have the fish ingredient ready to be used with your Masterchef Cookbook recipes or in Free Cooking.
