The Maelstrom update is live for ArcheAge. We talked about it over a month ago, and the main feature of this update is the introduction of sea battles.
Maelstrom, also known as update 4.0 for ArcheAge, introduces the Bloodsalt Bay naval combat arena, so if ships and terrible sea creatures are your thing, this is the place to go. There are other things, including the mandatory limited-time events for you to win some in-game rewards, cross-server arenas, a overhaul of the lunagem system and more.
