Blacklight: Retribution

Blacklight: Retribution is shutting down on PC on March 11, 2019, Hardsuit Labs has announced. Until then, all the items in the PC store will be available for free.

The PS4 version of Blacklight: Retribution will remain live since the studio doesn't have to worry with game servers for it. However, both PC and PS4 won't get any further updates or patches, and support is also going to end for both platforms.

Developer Hardsuit Labs came to this decision because they are working on “some very interesting projects that require the full focus of the development teams and leadership. The studio capacity and resources are and have been entirely engaged with these projects and will be for the foreseeable future.”

Blacklight: Retribution was one of the best free-to-play first-person shooters when it was released in 2012 under the publishing duties of Perfect World Entertainment. Nonetheless, it never amassed a large player base that could keep it safe for many more years and is now shutting down.
