Just as Trion Worlds announced, Defiance is now free-to-play. This fun third-person shooter is now available at no cost for all PC players, while the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will become free on July 15th, something that isn't random at all since just a few days later, the second season of Defiance will begin on the SyFy channel.
Defiance is a cross-medium project, being an MMO and TV show where they occasionally influence each other. It's one of those rare games that are trying to be really connected to the TV show, just like the upcoming Quantum Break from Remedy.
Trion Worlds released a new NSFW trailer to celebrate Defiance's free-to-play launch. By the way, NSFW here means Now Safe For Wallets.
