Is Gaijin teasing a new game or a War Thunder update?

What is Gaijin Entertainment up to? The Russian studio is teasing something new via a live action trailer containing scenes of what could be a World War II scene focusing on infantry troops. There's already a countdown on a new website enlisted.net pointing to a December 12, 2016 reveal, so make sure you sign up to know about it when the time comes.

And now, speculation time. Could this be something like an infantry update for War Thunder (the combat simulator developed by Gaijin) or a new game entirely, possibly a WW2 online first-person shooter? We'll know for sure in a few days.
