The Maze Engine, the ninth expansion to the Dungeons & Dragons-based MMORPG Neverwinter is now live on PC and will be released on Xbox One later in 2016. This expansion follows on the Underdark storyline, pitting players against powerful, new demonic threats, Baphomet and Orcus. You'll meet several classic D&D characters along the way, including Drizzt Do’Urden, Minsc, Bruenor Battlehammer, Regis and more.
The Maze Engine also brings new updates including the return of four leveling dungeons and Castle Never, which has been upgraded into an epic dungeon, all of which with new content and updated visuals. The expansion also introduces the new Mounts System, allowing players to customize their mounts and how they’re kept, an improved queue system, and a new campaign.
The Maze Engine is the first of several big updates coming to Neverwinter in 2016, Perfect World Entertainment has confirmed.
