This isn't the most likely thing to happen, but it surely would be sweet. The cult game Okami could be making it into Dota 2, if the beloved character Amaterasu is voted by players and approved by Valve.
The Amaterasu character design for Dota 2 is the real deal, coming straight from Capcom, so it's not a fan thing or something. As you can see by the video below, it was posted on Capcom's official channel, so there are no doubts about the authenticity of the submission. On the other hand, this would be a great marketing stunt as Capcom is releasing Okami HD on December 13 for PC and PS4, with the Xbox One version launching on December 21.
If this is approved, could it set a dangerous precedent for potential character crossovers with Dota 2? Would you like to see Lara Croft or Master Chief making their way into Dota 2? And what about Amaterasu, which actually has a design that could blend nicely with the rest of the Dota 2 cast, should it make it into the game?
