TERA: Fate of Arun expansion launches, 17 million registered players

Here it is! En Masse Entertainment today launched the first major expansion for TERA: Rising. Called Fate of Arun, this expansion raises the level cap to 65 and adds plenty of content from the new continent of Northern Arun, including new zones, skills, dungeons, gear, and a new PvP battleground. Here is a breakdown of all the new content.

To celebrate the launch of Fate of Arun, En Masse revealed that TERA currently has over 17 million registered players worldwide. That is quite a lot and considering that TERA is widely regarded as one of the best free-to-play MMORPGs, while the real number of active players is surely lower, it is still respectable if not impressive.

We've managed to try Fate of Arun and we should have our first look on this expansion really soon for you to know more about it. Meanwhile, you can try TERA: Rising for free here and watch the expansion announcement trailer below. TERA is an action MMORPG that is fairly nice with the usual IP-block thing, since many regions in the world are able to play in the North American server, including Europe, South America, Australia, SEA and more.
