Quantum League open beta begins

The Quantum League open beta begins today, Nimble Giant has revealed. This is the perfect opportunity for you to try an FPS with an original twist, something that probably comes around about once in a decade. But who's counting, right?

Quantum League is a new kind of futuristic sport where there's more to it than just shooting the rival players. Featuring 1v1 and 2v2 options set in different game modes, the gimmick here is that gameplay is based around loops and clones. Each time that a short loop ends, you begin the next one with the knowledge that your past actions remain, and that you can shoot the clones, eventually performing an unkill – an action where you save yourself from dying in a previous loop.

Confused? Don't worry, it's not as complicated as it sounds when you start playing. If you want to learn more about our experience during closed beta, read our Quantum League impressions. On the other hand, if you think that you want to dive in right away, Steam is where the game is waiting to be downloaded.
