DokeV collectible MMORPG is Pearl Abyss’ family friendly entry

DokeV collectible MMORPG

Black Desert developer Pearl Abyss has disclosed the official name for its upcoming family friendly MMORPG. Previously known as Project V, this game is now called DokeV.

Apparently, players are known as Dokebis in the world of the DokeV collectible MMORPG. It is a game for all ages and development is led by Sang-young Kim, the Animation Director for Black Desert Online, and Suh Won Choi, Game Design Director for the same game.

There isn't any additional info for DokeV, although the collectible nature of the game could be indication that it plays somewhere along the lines of Pokemon games. Perhaps it turns out to be a nice alternative to Pokemon Sword and Shield? It seems that it is going to feature an open world to explore, and there were rumors that Pearl Abyss is going to use a brand-new engine for DokeV.

The official DokeV site is live, and the trailer is dropping on November 13 20:00 PST / 23:00 EST. With this colorful game, the gritty fantasy epic Crimson Desert, and the competitive shooter Plan 8, Pearl Abyss is finally extending its grasp.
