Fans of 2D fighting games like Street Fighter are in for a treat with the upcoming release of the fighting game HeroVersus: The Legend of Ki Masters. Developed by Canadian studio TheVersus co. and published by IDC/Games in Europe and Latin America, it will be released this year for PC (Steam and IDC client), Android, and iOS.

HeroVersus is free-to-play and features cross-platform play between PC and mobile devices. Apart from multiplayer PvP with ranked competitive matches, there's also a single player aspect where you can challenge AI-controlled fighters on survival and arcade modes.

The closed beta for the fighting game HeroVersus is set for this month, and the official release will be available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, and Turkish.

Watch the HeroVersus reveal trailer below, showing some of the 12 fighters and the pretty cool cartoon graphics. It could turn out to be a fun distraction until you wait for something more serious such as the League of Legends fighting game.
