LawBreakers is now free-to-play until it closes for good

LawBreakers free-to-play

Boss Key Productions – or what is left of it – has just announced that LawBreakers is now free-to-play and you can download it right away from Steam. Better late than never, right?

But don't open the champagne just yet; LawBreakers is pretty much on its last legs, with the closing date being September 14, 2018. You can't purchase anything from the in-game store from now on and there will be no more refunds as well. The LawBreakers team obviously can't continue operating the game – we're guessing in part due to Nexon's unwillingness to go for a proper free-to-play release -, and this means that you have a few months to enjoy a good shooter marred by weird marketing decisions.

What a bittersweet feeling. You can read the LawBreakers free-too-play announcement here.
