My.com’s Revelation Online is coming to Steam soon

Revelation Online is coming to Steam

Soon you will have an additional way to play the free fantasy MMORPG Revelation Online, as publisher My.com has just announced that it is taking the game to Steam. No release date was revealed so far, but the coming weeks should bring some news.

This should give the game an interesting player base boost, as most games get when they land on Steam, and it will join other My.com games already available in Valve's digital distribution platform such as Armored Warfare and Skyforge. However, you won't be able to link or migrate your existing Revelation Online account, and you will have to create a new character if you want to play through Steam. The good news is that characters created on Steam will be able to play on the same servers as anyone playing with a My.com account, which means Moonsea or Tidewater for Europe and Darkfall, Snowpine or Divine Overlook for North America.

The Steam launch of Revelation Online will be celebrated with special competitions and prizes, with the details coming next week.

In a related note, My.com today announced that it will publish the medieval warfare MMO Conqueror's Blade with a free-to-play business model.
