Dauntless reaches 10 million players as Nintendo Switch demo debuts at E3

Dauntless 10 million Nintendo Switch demo

In the three weeks since its official launch on May 21, the free-to-play action RPG Dauntless has captured the hearts and minds of more than six million players. All things considered, Phoenix Labs' impressive behemoth hunter game quadrupled its player base and is now sitting at a very respectable 10 million players.

Dauntless is a cross-play experience on PC via Epic Games Store, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but further platforms will join the battle sooner or later. The “One Dauntless” concept will become richer when the Nintendo Switch version releases. The Nintendo Switch will debut at E3 2019 with a hands-on demo, with the official release happening later in 2019. A mobile version is also in the works, and the official roadmap has other things in store.

Dauntless was the number 1 free-to-play game on PlayStation 4 during May. Its first major content expansion will release in July, but recently Twitch Prime subscribers were offered various items with the Desperado Bundle.
