Sudden Attack devs are working on a new PC online FPS for 2021

Sudden Attack new PC online FPS

NexonGT, formerly known as GameHi, is working on a new online PC first-person shooter. The makers of Sudden Attack and Dekaron were acquired by Nexon in 2010, but has no big hit for a few years now. Sudden Attack 2 was released in 2016 and shut down a few months later due to disappointing player feedback.

There is no additional info on this upcoming shooter, as MMOCulture reported. We do know that the release is scheduled for 2021, a date that is surely targeting Korea. We'll keep following this matter as we may be up for a Sudden Attack 3 or some sort of redesign of the ill-fated shooter.

Nexon hasn't had much luck with shooters, with one of the latest being the very decent Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – First Assault Online. However, Neople's game failed to sustain a good following and ended up shutting down in 2017.

CrossFire is another old acquaintance that is bound to make a comeback soon. Smilegate is working on CrossFire X for a 2020 release date on Xbox One, with a little help from Remedy Entertainment. Yes, the guys that made the acclaimed Control, Quantum Break, Max Payne, and Alan Wake games, among others.
