As soon as you start Undecember, it's going to be a race to farm the best Skill Runes and Link Runes. These two types of runes are extremely important to develop the best character build, opening up new possibilities and expanding upon the existing abilities. So, farming and enhancing them should be one of your priorities. While not a cheat or anything remotely illegal, this guide to farm Minor Earth Element and Skill Rune Magic Upgrade Essence is one that the most devoted Undecember players will want to exploit. Since it's not like this material will come in abundance, you should take the most of it that you can.

The strategy is similar to the one employed in many other online RPGs, and consists of the following. Start Undecember as normal with your main character and level up as usual, unlock Act 2 and just keep going until you feel like taking a break. Then, create a new character and once again make your way up to Act 2, until you talk to NPC Christen right at the beginning of this story arch.

Christen will give you the items as usual, and now it's up to you to profit. Find your storage chest in this area, a bit to the right, and place them inside. Your storage is shared across all your characters, so by now you should know how it goes – return to your main Rune Hunter and go grab those extra items from the other character.

What's great is that you can do this a few times by creating additional characters and repeating the process. It may take you a couple of hours per character, but you can choose when you want to go for it, or if at all.
