Black Desert Mobile released global

After a couple of days where you could mess around with the character customization thanks to the pre-download, Black Desert Mobile released worldwide on Android and iOS for free.

Pearl Abyss is stating that Black Desert Mobile had over 4.5 million pre-registrations. It has released and achieved success in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, and let's not forget that Black Desert Mobile released in a soft launch for select countries a few weeks ago. The MMORPG is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Russian, Thai, and Indonesian, with Portuguese to be added in 2020. You can check the Black Desert Mobile roadmap to learn more about what is coming next year.

Black Desert Mobile runs on Pearl Abyss' proprietary engine, delivering some pretty cool visuals on mobile. The character customization system is worthy of praise, boasting one of the most in-depth creators allowing you to tweak every part and limb of your avatar.

There are five classes to choose from, with plenty more coming in 2020. You have the Ranger, Witch, Warrior, Valkyrie, and Giant, with many quests waiting you, both solo and co-op – you can team up with other players to take down world bosses as well. However, PvP is also part of the game, with 1v1 battles or 3v3 arenas to begin with, and massive Node Wars later in the game.

Life Skills are essential in every MMORPG nowadays, and Black Desert Mobile is no exception. Nonetheless, it spices up things with the introduction of a camp system, replacing the housing system of the PC and consoles Black Desert Online.

The camp is your safe haven, where you get to hire workers, build constructions, and expand your abilities. Your workers will help you gather resources, manage nodes, create different types of products, and more. It's like a small city-building game that found its way into an MMORPG.

There is auto-combat for the grind, but this isn't available during some missions and bosses. You'll have to resort to your skills alone to overcome some of the challenges, with auto-combat thankfully staying at the door.

As part of the 4.5 million pre-registrations celebrations, all players are getting in-game items for free, including a Bunny Bunny Ornament, a Tier 1 Horse Emblem, a Verdon Outfit Chest, and Krenvatz Barding, among others.
