Contrary to epic missions (main storyline quests) and side-quests, hidden quests don’t need to be accepted by the player. It suffices to run near the NPC and the quest will automatically trigger, unless you have a full quest log and you can’t accept more missions until you complete the ones that are pending.

Some hidden quests are timed and you must complete them as soon as they are active. In case you fail to finish one mission, you can return to the NPC and give it another shot, so no harm done.

Marvel Future Revolution warns you when you’re about to enter a dungeon, asking if you wish to proceed or if you prefer to stay and finish the remaining side-quests and pick up all the collectibles.
