SOUL WORKER vs. CLOSERS: DIMENSION CONFLICT

Two action MMORPGs from Sotuh Korea, two somewhat similar and stunning anime styles, a bunch of teenagers with special skills, two worlds invaded by creatures that need some punches to the face to listen to reason; which one are you looking for the most: Soul Worker Online or Closers: Dimension Conflict?

Soul Worker was first shown to the public in 2011 with a trailer that was mesmerizing and created a level of hype that not many games can boast. It was an anime action MMORPG with slick characters wearing short skirts and using humongous weapons to kick some monsters' butt. But to the developer, something didn't feel right and the game went under a lot of redesigning, only to resurface in 2014 in a new trailer, with a slicker look, even more action and the still sexy anime girls… and a nurse outfit or two. Despite a panty shot here and there, Soul Worker is all about the flashy action in third-person perspective mixed with a card game system. To learn more about the game, which was supposed to enter Korean beta in 2014 but obviously didn't, read our Soul Worker first impressions or watch it below in all the comfort of video format.

Closers: Dimension Conflict aka Closers Online is a fighting MMO that is set to bring the classic Dungeon Fighter Online gameplay up to date with incredible 3D visuals and smooth side-scrolling action. It's all about teens fighting interdimensional monsters and using incredible skills, including dropping a bus on your enemies. The artstyle is looking quite impressive as you can see by this Closers animation trailer, but the sad news is that both this one and Soul Worker are currently only announced for South Korea. We did manage to enter the Korean beta and recorded quite a bit of gameplay footage, so you can watch it here, as a small teaser.
