Genshin Impact PC, Android, and iOS release date revealed

Genshin Impact PC Android iOS release date

When miHoYo promised that it was going to release Genshin Impact before October, it wasn't fooling around. The Chinese studio mostly known for the amazing mobile action RPG Honkai Impact 3rd has revealed the Genshin Impact PC, Android, and iOS release date. Sadly, there isn't an update on the PlayStation 4 launch, but news on this are promised for a later date, so we'll keep pressing the devs for it. As for the Genshin Impact Switch release date, that's even more of a mystery right now, and we wouldn't expect to see the full launch before late 2020 or early 2021.

But back on the subject of the Genshin Impact PC and mobile launch date. “Before October” is a thing indeed, but barely, as many gamers have predicted. You can play Genshin Impact starting September 28, 2020.

To celebrate the announcement, there's a pre-registration event where you can earn some in-game prizes according to the number of players that sign up – the more registrations, the more prizes. You can pre-register on PC, Android, or iOS. Besides, you can enter a raffle to win a few physical prizes by inviting friends. If you're lucky, you may earn one of 30 Genshin Impact mouse mats, 20 Airpods Pro, or 50 gift cards worth $15 each.

Genshin Impact is an open world action RPG that you can play solo or with a few friends. It is based on a manga created by developer miHoYo and will feature nearly two dozen playable characters at launch, with more coming with future updates.

You play as the Traveler and are able to create a party of up to four heroes, switching between them as you see fit. Each hero has a specific element tied to him or her, resulting in different chains during combat. For example, Amber masters fire, while Kaeya holds the power of cryo.
